This book is an very good hands on guide to photographing art, written especially for those with little or no experience in this area. It's a short book, a half hour read, so don't expect lengthy explanations or an in-depth guide to editing with Photoshop. This is really a book to get you started- just the essentials. I really like the way Chris Thomas presented the information graphically. I am a professional painter-artist and have been photographing paintings for many years. I have had the most success photographing work outdoors in the shade on a sunny day, and that is exactly what Chris recommends as the best technique! Just don't let your art blow away in the wind! I am going to be teaching a class on this topic and bought this book to help me plan my class. Also, I am learning a few new things too.Product details
